Might look into buying on a US site myself if the colours and the postage works out to be less than in the local shops. Were do you shop o line?

Thanks everyone. Squirrel I got most of my threads from Hands craft store in papanui. Yes they cost 20c more there than fabric vision but fabric vision don't have any threads higher than 999 or have any of the 500 - 599 range which is rather silly I think. If you are going to stock DMC threads stock...

Above are my daughters first stitches of her first cross stitich so far.
I am teaching her how to do it - intense one on one so far.

I will keep you all up to date with her progress in the stitch a long forum.

I have started her off. Here is the hand made drawing on 14 count Aida cloth. Yea it's weird that we literally stop when it snows heavily. But we are not used to it and we don't have the equipment to move it all.

Maybe if it happens more often we would invest in snow ploughshare etc.
