Found them!!! They are called Stitch Clips if anyone else is interested...Here is a link to get some... Stitch clips thinking about possibly making my own...mrs. DIY here can ya tell...that and the broke thing comes into play...My mother is a sewing fanatic so she may even have the little clip parts...

wooooohoooo!!!! :dance: :dance: The stand finally came in the mail yesterday!!! I put it all together last night but was just way to tired to actually play with a piece on it...so that I get to do tonight! It is really sturdy and def. well made...After getting it my hubby says he can make the extend...

From what I understand no there are only full crosses...and another note is that many only do the tent stitch or half stitch since it is on 25 one over one....I've seen some do 2 strands over one in the tent stitch and they look awesome to me...so I personally think the only hard part are that there...

oh my...def. do not keep at it till you hate it! this is just toooo gorgeous to hate! I'd say start something else and again make it small :) Then you not only have almost instant gratification that you can finish one but it might even rev you back up for tink!! But don't hide her!! well I agree...you can't see the gray! I see the black so if it were me I'd do the black!

all righty....here is a contact sheet of what each one of the fabrics look like with the bird...I know they are small...but they give some kind of an idea...I was going for the same as the pictures background but I'm really liking the blues as well....ughhh I'm almost afraid to do this one by my gue...
