Lovely sachet ideas... they make such nice hostess gifts. I found a great source for good quality 'fillings' like lavender, balsam, etc., on Etsy.com.

I just heard about the 'laying tool' and appreciate the comments / info here... this will help me with a needlepoint Santa standup I'm doing that uses a lot of 'needlepoint rayon' (Neon Rays). Thanks all!

Good luck with your intarsia! I have taught it and my rule is wrap colors every two stitches no matter what... it's worth the extra effort!
