I seem to have fallen behind on this SAL (like I do with every SAL) Im currenty working on June, and here its August already!

I'll use clips and grime guards for most of my projects, but for the ones with a ton of extra fabric I take out a scroll frame.

its been a long time ( I think I was 12 or something like that) but I made an easter basket from plastic canvas once..... I havent seen any plastic canvas patterns that I would actually stitch so I havent worked with it in forever.

I had to look at it super zoomed in but I think I see the problem. your kloster blocks are going over 5 threads instead of 4. this will definetly throw your placement off! kloster blocks are 5 stitches over 4, you come up at the top, skip 3 holes and go down the 4th hole.
