recover (explanation: Some retail stores employees have to "zone" their departments which means they put stuff back where it goes. I worked at a store that called it "recover" which is the same thing: putting back stuff that shoppers left everywhere except where they picked it up.)

I can picture what you describe. When I see Jackson (my cat) or one of my grand dogs try to get traction on a tile or wood floor, it reminds me of watching cartoon characters trying to escape.

I picked this up at the framer (Hobby Lobby) today. I had the idea to have the Metro map framed with it and I am over the moon with the result.

I do, too. I think it fits the vibe of the older (60 years ago) stop motion animation, giving it a cartoon-y feel.

I just finished Santa Claus. The chart calls for single strand backstitching but it just doesn’t show up well so I’m using two strands for all of it.
