A little update for you all. This one is getting retired Sunday evening so I can do a week on my HAED. looking forward to using colours

I am loving doing this one. Here's an little update. You can see where I frogged. I did everything 2 rows too low

It really is. And the fabric is even more in person.

They have a whole range of scenes like this. I chose this one because beauty and the beast is my all time gave Disney film.

Got this today for Christmas. Loved the simplicity but yet how it tells the whole story. It's a Bothy Threads kids. It's using 3 strands of black over 1. The only other colours in it is metallic silver for the arch on top of the castle. And a metallic red for the heart and rose. http://i59.photobuck...

Second page is done and 3rd page has been started. Trying the parking method now because I got very lost when it came to the last few confetti stitches and could figure out which colour it was meant to be.

Thought I'd post an update while I'm here. Approx half way through page 2 and I'll be happy when I move into her wing which is the bottom bit of which I've not done. Lots more colours in there, but it's not greens. Strting to feel like I'm stitching army camouflage http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/...

Ah I see what you mean now. As richardandtracey said I'm doing 2 over 1 tent stich. Its effectively just half stitch. I would have used full crosses and 1 strand of thread but I like using the loop method to secure my strand and (probably more likely) I'm too lazy haha

Yes. Its dmc magic grid. Comes in various counts. This one is 25ct. Not seen one higher than this.

The only drawback is it's gridded to 20x20 boxes. Which I suppose if you're doing it over 2 it'll work.

Thanks everyone. I tend to stitch whenever I have a spare 5 mins. So it could be between work (citizens advice and sainsburys) or when he's playing computer games or watching zombie rubbish

This is regular print. My other haed (into the light) is a large print
