Re: linen sizes

We have one local shop here, which is mostly dedicated to quilting....if I can't find the 25 count linen there (which is kinda doubtful) this might have to wait till I can find time to drive to Denver :(

Precious Moments patterns are always cute for baby related ornaments. Gloria & Pat have several books with mini's and ornaments.

Re: Punchneedle

Thank You for the nice compliment Myst! I think the key to having uniform loops is the needle...I was taught with a small piece of tubing on it that stops at the same length every time. I will try to post a pic of what I mean, hopefully tomorrow??? and Leroy, snow & rain? yuck...you guys on the ...

Re: Punchneedle

I've done a few punch needle projects.....I first learned 'how to' at cross stitch camp in Tulsa, Ok. It's fairly easy once you get the tension in your fabric just right, it needs to be extremely tight in your hoop. And fabric matters, I believe I was told the best is a muslin. Re: Stitching font

Wow....I went thru all of my "alphabet" books and came up with nothing. But when I searched google, I did find some interesting fonts that could be charted easily enough. http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b615/lytehouse2205/sew%20stuff/60font_zpsb25925f1.jpg http://i1294.photobucket.com/...

The afghan is a work of art Sarah.....and how I wish you lived in the states. It's a rare combination to see another woman who rides a motorcycle and stitches! We are truly unique :D
