Re: 2015 Deliveries and New Stash Aquisitions

Wonderful additions everyone!! The Lord Prayer's is such a beautiful project, I'm sure your Godmother will be so pleased. Sisters give so much and get so little in return, I'm sure my aunt in Heaven would agree that it is a beautiful and meaningful gift!

Re: HAED - Please share your experience

Hi Anna-Marie! I saw that you posted on my thread and thought I would comment on yours! I am a beginner stitcher and wanted to reassure you that HAEDs are tons of fun :) Make sure you love the colours you'll be stitching with...I find that it's easier to get over the fact that there's a lot of confe...

Re: Mary's First HAED: Whats This

Carole - I am stitching 2 over 2 since that's what I learned on and have always been more comfortable that way :) I thought of stitching on Aida but the thought of it was a little scary! Anna-Marie - It's really not as scary as it looks!!! I really recommend watching the youtube video I liked in the...

Re: Mary's First HAED: Whats This

Thank you for your comments, ladies!!! :grouphug: I am really enjoying this project so far. I feel like it's a nice change from a project where you have to count a lot of blank space as well as a nice break from my small projects. Here is my progress after two days. I completed 800 stitches and abso...

Mary's First HAED: Whats This

Hi everyone!!! I'm so excited because I finally started my first HAED!!!! :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: I am stitching up the free chart that HAED released in memory of Cecil the lion. Here is the thread I found it on: http://www.crossstitchforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27750" target="_blank...

Re: 2015 Deliveries and New Stash Aquisitions

lavenderbee - what amazing finds!! I wish I had that much luck in charity shops!!! Here is my modest order from 123stitch. I will not be starting them right away, since I have quite a few WIPs going on. I do want to start the Valerie Pfeiffer sometime this fall, though! The Country Cottage Needlewor...

Scarecrow pattern with no text

Hello everyone!

I love scarecrows but while browsing I realised most of the patterns available have some kind of text on the charts. I'd love to find something that I could keep up on the wall all year.

Please do let me know if you stumble upon something like this!

Thank you!!

Re: Small Projects for 2015

Thank you everyone for your lovely messages! Nice finishes. I have a feeling the Schubeart pun would begin to grate on me if I saw it on the wall at home every day, but fun nonetheless. Regards, Richard. I thought of removing the A all together but decided to keep it since it's not meant to be...

Re: Small Projects for 2015

Whew! I stayed up late tonight to finish Schubeart... I have to admit the pattern was not easy to work with. There are a few "mistakes" although I found that the border was off in the pattern itself and tried to make adjustment myself. Oh well! I'm quite happy with how he turned out and wi...
