I upholstered it to make a pet bed for my dogs....only they don't like it, but it is just the right size for a toddler. My great nephew loved it, only I would recommend reinfo...

Re: RE; Supplies

I actually made a bed for my pets from the large craft crates they sell at Michael's. I popped the top three slats off, then used doll's heads, round balls with a flat side for feet, and upholstered it. My pets don't like it. My dogs prefer their crates and my cats prefers my bed. However, two toddl...

RE; Supplies

There are still Michael's, Joanns and Hobby Lobby, but they are cutting back on their cross stitch supplies and I can't remember the last time they had an...

Re:Monopoly

I bought a chart in the late 1980's that was called, "
Why a Teddy Bear is a a Cross stitcher's best friend. It fell apart on me. Does anyone have a copy? I am working on my ten posts so I can view the Gallery. This is number five.

Re: How do you organize your floss?

I found a box of wrapped bobbins at an estate sale. I asked how much it was. She said two dollars. I could hardly keep a straight face, because i would have paid ten for it.

I am LAURA from California. I have been stitching for more than 30 years. I am a fan of Jeremiah Junction, Dale Burdett, and Sam hawkins (his early work. Not his later work.) I am looking forward to meeting other stitchers, especially since all the x stitch stores in my city are closed and pickings ...
