Chugging along the Precious Moments. Couldn't wait to start the backstitching, so I did the details in the face and arm. Now all that's left is finishing off the blanket and backstitching around the whole thing.

Re: Redfoot's WIPs! - Update 2/20
Another update - put away the Frosted Pumpkin to work on this adorable Precious Moments. I made a couple of major counting mistakes, but I'm just going to backstitch them away and pretend they never happened. I'm so happy with the way it's turning out. I just have to finish the blue of the blanket a...

Re: Redfoot's WIPs!
February's block of the Happily Ever After sampler is done! The white is not showing up well on my fabric, so I did a bit of backstitching on the mountains and the goat. Back to working on the framing.

*drools over your organisation* I feel like I need such an itemised list to keep me in order!
I love your cards, so much work! Where do you get the patterns? Do you make them up yourself?

Redfoot's WIPs! - Update 3/01
Hello new stitchy friends! Are you ready for a peek inside my works-in-progress basket? There are four of them (yikes) but only two that I'm working on in rotation. Vanellope Start date: I dunno, like 2013 some time? First up is the oldest, which has been hibernating for a couple years. I did the de...

Texas, Colorado, Scotland, South Carolina, Australia . . . we really are from everywhere! I'm loving this forum so far. Everyone's just really happy and positive about their hobby. We do refer to the tortoise as a cat more often than not. "Have you fed the cats" means all five of them. And...

Re: New stitcher :)
Well here is what I'm currently working on - would it be okay if I started a WIP thread for myself in Stitch-a-longs? I've been having so much fun browsing them, I can't believe how long some of them have been running. http://i.imgur.com/BxZf2Vol.jpg And this is the other kit I'm working on: http://...

Re: For yourself or others....
Pat I love that piece!! You definitely have to share pictures while you're working on it, it's going to look great. My earliest pieces were for myself, because I was just experimenting, but now most of what I do is for other people (mostly my wife). My wife actually laughed at me because recently I ...

New stitcher :)
Hello! I've been lurking for a few days so I decided to come out and say hi. My wife has cross-stitched for most of her life, and taught me a couple years ago (she also taught me how to crochet and we explored quilting, but I can't sew a straight line with a sewing machine let alone by hand), but I'...
