Re: Hoops, scroll, & snap frames, oh my!

The stand arrived this week and I am impressed with it so far. I have currently used the clamp to hold quite a small hoop which means that I can stitch two handed which is what I got used to doing with the floor frame. I used to find I got hand cramp after a while holding the hoop so it has taken th...

Re: Hoops, scroll, & snap frames, oh my!

For the one I am doing at the moment I have a floor frame - and I find it frustrating when having to hold the frame in my hand. That being said it is a bit of a beast, so I am looking to get a smaller floor stand that holds different frames and hoops. Although I like the look of the lap frames my ca...

Re: Hello - I'm new

Thank you all for the warm welcome :o I should list my UFOs as well. Annoyingly I have one which I think will always be a UFO as I seem to have lost the chart ... It's a Winnie the Pooh height chart that I started when my friend announced her first pregnancy (he turns 12 this year and is at grammar ...

Re: Too Many Hobbies!

Don't worry guys, the oven isn't in the loft - and the basic cake tins, cupcake trays, brownie tins, kenwood mixer is in the baking cupboard - its more of the specialised tins (e.g. duck tin) and decorating stuff that has gone into the loft as there was just no room. Standard baking is still allowed...

Re: Too Many Hobbies!

I completely empathise.

I refer to myself as a serial hobbyist - but try to limit myself to one/two at a time - mainly because the house isn't that big.

currently I am cross-stitching and sewing - so the cake baking, wool and knitting/crochet needles are up in the loft.

Re: Rosemary's 2017 Stitching - 22 Mar

The colour on your Tree of Life is amazing - and your stitching is so precise.

How do you keep track of what all the colours are?

I have discovered (from reading this board) I am a cross-country stitcher. Who knew?

I love this (as a bit of a Whovian myself) - Beautiful stitching - shame the pattern is no longer available :(

Hello - I'm new

Hello All I found this place when googled about HEAD designs of which I am desperate to get but I have told myself I HAVE to finish a similar design that I bought about 10 years ago (actually, possibly longer - maybe 15+) I am a bit of a serial hobbyist and go through phases of knitting, sewing, cro...
