Re: Garnet's works-in-progress update 30.8.18
I agree, that was well below the belt & even though an apology was given & accepted it still leaves a mark inside where the hurt was felt & something like that about TWO PICTURES will never ever b e forgotten by the person on the receiving end or the readers I too am surprised the post i...

Re: Where has everyone gone?
Didn't realise it is so long since I last posted on here. Joined in June, started Periwinkle Cottage but couldn't get on with it so a friend has it to finish. She liked it a lot so I can see it on her wall when I visit. Now evenings are starting to draw in time to get on with things indoors again bu...

Oh goodness what a tiny baby & to have pulled through all she has had to cope with is truly astounding. Do hope Paizlee continues to progress well. Love & prayers to her & your family Roland. Please let us know how she gets on. Like other members I would love to be kept up to date with t...
Re: Help?
I was going to say the same, try 3 threads on the edge of fabric or on a scrap of Aida left over, to see how it works out & also to find out whichyou prefer. I do 2 strands 14 & 16 & prefer the coverage of 16 - had also been thinking along your lines of trying 3 strands on 14 count. I wi...

Re: Periwinkle Cottage - ipdate 28th June
Thank you Sally. Last night did another shade of yellow in blank area & when I got a bit tired started dark brown along top so it looks even more shaped now. Another few stitches in dark & medium brown & will then go to other window on right to have a change of colour before doing more t...

Hello, I am new here but welcome back. Sorry you have had so much thrown at you through life, it is awful when that happens but glad you are out the other side now. Do hope coming on here again helps you a lot.
Look forward to seeing your work

Re: Heatwave
Yes, hotter today, don't know temp but too hot to do much except drink to keep hydrated.
Re: Heatwave
What a shame Mabel. Garnet hope you are OK. ITV said Hawarden hottest place in UK today 30.8, BBC said Porthmadog on north west coast was hotter. Were going to Aberystwyth tomorrow, thinking it may be cooler on that part of coast, but decided against it. Large wildfire there today & tomorrow due...
