Re: Garnet's pieces for Christmas - There I've said it out l

Oh my, what wonderful things you have stitched. I have Christmas ornaments, Dimensions, not done yet but as aid in previous post I found a 'heap of snowmen' chart & they all have smiley faces. Will do that in rotation with the flower sampler. Not sure if all are snowmen, maybe a snow woman too s...

Re: A Flower for all Seasons

Thank you all. The stitched green looks lighter colour than it really is compared to picture of chart but as I look at it, the green is darker. Added blue again last night & the edging is taking shape.

Re: A Flower for all Seasons

Thank you. I loved the brightness of the flower combinations directly I saw this chart. And, I have my trusty worker bee needle minder to aid me with the flowers :D Had this a gift, not had one before but most helpful at holding the needles.

Re: Introducing Pamela Puffin

Thank you very much for putting the Tandem Cottage link up Wendy. Most kind of you. As you are such an avid puffin watcher, guess you already know they are to be fond on Skomer Island. I: do like seeing them with their colour beaks, feet & eyes. They look sort of cuddly, as if you'd be able to c...

Re: Saying hi

Hello & welcome. I joined yesterday. Look forward to seeing more of our work. Wonderful when members convert photos are made into cross stitchings. Mine are not so adventurous as it says on my avatar what my favourites are but I enjoy seeing what else is stitched.

Re: 2018 Stash & Grab

Just wandered in for a look round. Red deer, wonderful. Something special when you see those creatures, makes you feel bubbly inside, well it does me anyway & I'd have a greet big smile too. Wonderful you both see them so close & don't have to hike to see them. Very cosy in her isn't it? Suc...

Re: Hi from Wales

Thank you. Yes there are many beautiful places in Wales. Up from Aberystwyth you have the southern end of Snowdonia National Park. That National Park extends all the way up to Conwy, where the River Conwy meets Irish Sea & the pretty Conwy Castle. The highest part of the park is Snowdon mountain...

Hi from Wales

Hi, I'm Betsan & have been doing various crafts most of my life. As avatar name says, my cross stitch is mostly flowers. Used to love helping my nain & taid in their garden & that cultivated my love of plants & nature from a very young age. Had initially intended to join a couple of ...
