I've used a CC for half a dozen purchases (at least >.>) only had trouble once, and really if I wasn't such an honest person it would have gone in my favor. A pay lot got cancelled by mistake so they needed all the info again, it was rather annoying, but nothing terrible.

As for the counting out the stitches, alot of HAEDers will grid, or draw or tack out a 10 x 10 grid on the cloth with contrasting floss, or thread, some use sulky metallics, or, like me, a water soluble fabric pen.
