Re: How do you carry your WIP?
My individual wips are each in plastic mesh project bags of varying sizes, depending on how big they are. The fabric, chart and floss (in floss-a-way bags on rings) fit perfectly. Sometimes I take them out that way, sometimes I put them in a tote bag if I have other stuff to carry around too.

Re: Am I the only one.....????
I like Christmas in December. The only places that should have Christmas stuff out before then are craft stores when you need a couple of months to actually craft things. Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday and it gets the shaft nowdays. My bday is Jan 1 and it always gets the shaft because...

Re: Counting Pins
My Big Toe makes what they call "thread hoppers" which are great for smaller bits of counting and would be super simple to make yourself. I use mine quite often. It's 2 needles tied together with some floss and a bead. When I have to count over long distances, it's great to just leap frog ...

Re: For those of you who use silks
Well, Hand Dyed Fibers are nice inexpensive silks. They might be a good place for you to start. I use them quite often. You can go look at my blog to see how they stitch up.

According to my blog, I have 6 going....but it doesnt include obligation pieces, charity, or smalls. And those are just the ones that actually get stitched on at least once a month.

Re: HAED addiction
Dont worry...I quit buying them long ago. I'll never buy another one again...and no ebaying them. The owner would kick my ass. She's probably reading this now and going to send me a nasty message.

That's an awsome song. I can see why you wanted to find it. I am a music junky. My iTunes has over 5000 songs. I dont even know how to find out how many artists I have on there. I have everything just about though...country, rock, new wave, classical, musicals, sound tracks, R&B, alternative, wo...

Re: Stitching bug lost
I have 2 things that usually get my bug back.
1. I dont stitch and do something else for a while...read, stained glass, bead, whatever.
2. I go stash shopping...even if it's just window shopping. It always gets me back in the mood.

Re: Making soaps and candles
My SIL makes her own soaps. She doesnt use a kit though. She does the real deal with the lye and everything. It's dangerous to make with kids around, but it's really worth it. I have very sensitive skin and I just love her soaps. She makes awsome scents you cant find in stores. When I was a kid, we ...

Re: What's your mobile ring tone?
But my mom's phone meows. I love it because whenever it goes off, you always get someone around her saying "I hear a cat..do you hear a cat?" it's quite funny! My mom has that tone too. It's so funny to see people looking around for the cat. Mine is just the standard tone. No idea what it...

Re: Christmas stitching -- add your own!
Every year I made an ornament of some kind for each family in my family. It ends up being at least 12 that I need to do. Sometimes more depending on who shows up for our family Christmas....that's right...you dont show up, you dont get presents! That's how my family rolls! This year I am doing cross...
