Re: Ariadna vs Anchor

Hi again!

I do not speak russian, but a bit of bulgarian - similar enough for this purpose.

The Colour numbers on the website chart (3 digits) do not refer to the numbers on the pattern (4 digits).

Guess I will just have to wing it.

Thanks to everyone

Re: Ariadna vs Anchor

Hello I saw theweb site that you sent - i believe it is in russian as it uses cyrilic letters, which fortunately i can read. Yet I could not find a conversion chart. There is from a differrent source a conversion chart Ariadna to DMC. So i guess i will convert the Colours to DMC and then use another...

Ariadna vs Anchor

Hello All!

On my travels through Bulgaria I came upon and purchased a printed design from the company Ariadra. :D

I have tried to find a floss Colour conversion chart to Anchor, but to no avail!

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Danke,

Re: How do you do a bookmark?

Hello-

I ditto the stitch & fray technique. Using a pre-edged piece if Aida is OK, but I seldom have one.

I have attatched other pieces of fabric on the back, but I find this makes the finished product a bit too thick to actually be used as a

bookmark.

Just-a-moment

Hello-

Is this company still in business? I tried to go to their web site for the first time in quite a while and my computer would not go there.

Re: Too close to edge HELP!

Hello- This happened to me on my 1st big stitch. - All I could do was to stitch a piece of fabric on the edge. In my case, the cross stitches went right up to the edge with no room for a hem. :x Since this was put in a frame to hang, with care it all worked out well. Good Luck! William David

Yes, I did - I had a free day from work and the time to do it. It was not easy!

But it is very possible.

Hello all- A query and a Problem: I am working on a Dimensions project and it lists Opel colour ribbon in the stitch list. 1. Re: Colors - need they be exact & skein packs?

Hello- If you are doing kits, you may be suprised at how fast the leftover floss builds up. But it is best when beginning to not do too much substituting of colour - it may take a little expierience to see how the colours are used to their best - shading, contrast, etc. Coats is acually a very well ...
