I would have preferred black ribbon but I didn't have any and this project was about using what I had in my crafting basket.

Re: Podolyanka's Finishes 2020

My new project- Janlynn, "The Old Map" https://i.postimg.cc/CK0QLLs0/Janlynn-Ancient-Map.jpg Roughly 50x40cm. 44 colours. No blends, but a few hectars of my "beloved" backstitch which here is a must and I will be doing it as I go. This is an amazing design and a great start. I k...

Re: Fizzy Moon Bunny

so this little cutie is finished. I noticed once I had stitched it that it seemed out of balance so with the help of some squared paper I was able to add another flower which makes it look balanced and even cuter in my opinion.

Re: Fizzy Moon Bunny

I hope bunny didn't feel too neglected :-) not too neglected, I think bunny understood the mice were so cute. Made some good progress today, just the foot and the detailing to do now. 05/08/20 - https://i.postimg.cc/0bvqP4KS/Fizzy-Bunny-05-08-20.jpg So my scan was inconclusive and will have to be r...

Re: Trouble and Squeak Mice

Ok so turbo needle is my new best friend!! Daisy Mouse is completed, I do have a plan for mounting them but that's going to have to wait for a couple of days. I have to go to the hospital on Tuesday for a Fibroscan so I'm going to have to make myself a mask. 01/08/20 - https://i.postimg.cc/Wd8QrQN8/...

Re: Trouble and Squeak Mice

I need to follow your stitching example (instead of following the news)! :anotherfrog: I'm trying to avoid the news, it just depresses me :( on a happier note; another one done!! I do plan to wait for the weekend to stitch the last one. 29/07/20 - https://i.postimg.cc/VdqyYhcS/Dandelion-Mouse-29-07...

richardandtracy wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2020 8:53 am We tend to make large-ish quantities, and to reduce temptation, half or more goes in the freezer to be defrosted in a week or so. That could help with the egg halving problem.

Re: 2020 Stash & Grab (our virtual pub)

so I did Mint Choc Chip Muffins yesterday and they cam out great. does anyone know of an alternative to eggs that wont change the flavour too much? I want to cut the recipe in half and only make 6 Muffins instead of 12, less temptation! but my recipe only has one egg in it so it would be hard to spl...

Re: Trouble and Squeak Mice

Did the "turbo needle" need time to cool down properly. It would be lovely to have a turbo needle right now as I race to get a small card done for youngest son's 52 birthday on Friday Thankfully he is staying with us at present so I can just hand it to him. I love your new update, and tho...

Ooh, that looks yummy. I turned our house into a bakery over the weekend just gone, I made Ginger Chocolate Chip Muffins, White Chocolate Spiced Muffins and Herb Rolls. I tried to make a Chocolate and Pecan Bread but it went horribly wrong!! how something can be both burnt and raw I will never know!
