Hi, If you cut the aida to 13x13" (as it needs to be cut down to the correct size) your design can be anything between 3x3" and 9x9". I always stitch something that is around 6x6" as it fits nicely. You can check out my gallery as there are lots of squares that I have stitched :)...

Thanks everyone - it is so nice to hear from you all. I wish I had more time to stitch lots of squares - but with quilting and looking after 2 kids there isn't enough hours in the day :lol:

What are you all stitching? The ballerina I am stitching is taking so long, so many shades of grey,white and light blue on the tutu - it is eye boggling!
