Glad to say I've finished Soul of the Rose, and I'm working on DMC's Snow Queen Fairy - just started that this week, so progress pics coming soon...

I've got a day off work on Wednesday (I work every other saturday, so I get a day off during the week instead) so I plan on sitting a stitching for most of the day! Though I suppose I SHOULD do some revision for my driving theory test..... :rathe...

Oooh, I shall be watching with interest to see what they'll turn out to be... though I think there's a tree starting to form in that pic.... lots of black, some greens and brown - a night-time tree, maybe?

Faith - the beads in her hair, along with parts of her dress, are cross-stitched using a combination of metallic and normal thread. The photo doesn't show it, but a lot of the brown areas in her dress (though not all!) have metallic threads running through them.
