Thank you for the warm re-welcome, you are all so sweet and quirky in a fantastic way I look forward as well to getting to know all of you better... I'm in the process of moving but once I get settled hopefully I can get back to more stitching and able to post some pics

If I'm not mistaken, I think the only difference is that the gold series uses blended colors and sometimes gold metallics...

Second, I have the same pattern except not in Chinese, it came in a kit and is actually the first cross-stitch project I ever started years ago... Unfortunately I never finished it... sue, i use the parking method and keep my needles threaded and hanging... if you keep the needle close to the center of the thread and let it hang it shouldn't fall off, none of mine have... the shorter pieces of thread i take off the needle... hope that helps...

hi, for anyone who's used the rainbow gallery petite treasure braids, how many strands have you used? the pattern i'm doing is on 14ct aida and calls for two strands of floss for the cross-stitches... should i use two strands of floss and one of the metallic, or one floss one metallic? thanks!

i have a pako organizer and i love it! i haven't really had a problem with the threads getting tangled, they may look like they are but when you pull the threaded needle that you want out it usually comes easily... the project i'm working on has 84 colors and i didn't want to buy another pako becaus...
