Re: Agi's stitching

Agi, I have so much respect and admiration for you. I've been faffing around for months trying to work up the courage to sell my products, and I still haven't gotten off my backside and been brave enough to I probably won't because I don't have the confidence to. However, hearing how well your lovel...

It honestly becomes second nature after a while- I only railroad the top stitch and it seems to look okay.

Not sure to be honest- could give it a go and if it doesn't work can do a search option on forum for the link? I am not entirely sure how to work Facebook 90% of the time

Many thanks :applesauce:

Re: Little bit peeved

If you ordered DMC threads there's a note saying there will be a delay- I only know this because I ordered a bunch a few weeks ago and saw that sign- no idea if its the same for other types of threads. For those prices I am not surprised they are swamped hehe!

Re: Edges while stitching?

I fold my edges up and tuck it neatly then secure in place with small bulldog clips. Stops the fraying, easy to unclip if you need to move your frame, and you don't need to cut away the tape.

Re: Cross stitch forum facebook group

I agree with Mabel- FB is either tolerated or loathed- I can't think of many people who love it that's for sure. Don't take it personally :)

Re: Cross stitch forum facebook group

Chris, I totally understand that the time required to moderate the group is limited due to work and agreed, other people should report any illegal links and copyright violations but wouldn't it just be easier to make more mods from trusted members already in the group? Personally the behaviour and a...

Re: New Facebook Forum

Hmm... this is a tricky one. I am voting maybe simply because if a forum is going to be a true one dedicated to this forum it means that it will need proper moderation as there was so many people who poked their tongues out at copyright violation on the one that's already there it's ridiculous and q...

Re: A blog or not a blog...

I love reading your Flights of Fancy posts- I actually have the RSS feed on my favourites for easy access. I think you are a natural blogger but I would suggest if you were going to blog to maybe consider going with Blogger or Wordpress as it's probably easier to find you, to follow you and to make ...

Re: Back of cross stith pieces

It makes me all kinds of jealous when backs look like the fronts- really wish they would let us in on that secret on how to keep it so tidy  Part of me is very fussy about how my backs look, almost to the point where I become obsessive about it but I refuse to allow myself to do so as it takes ...
