Hi Everyone! It's been such a long time since I have posted here that I have almost forgotten how to do it! I didn't really stitch "properly" for the longest time, over a year or so, but last month I finally picked up my stitching and worked on my WIPs and also incorporated a few new start...

I use GoodNotes on my iPad and have done for the last five years (although I stitch rarely these days!). For paper charts I just take a photo of the paper chart and import that to GoodNotes - much easier than faffing about with a scanner !

Aside from a couple of hours on 1 January 2017, I haven't picked up a needle so far in 2017 :shock: ! Prior to that my stitching had been pretty erratic since Summer 2016 and I've been selling quite a bit of my stash. Can't really account for the change of heart after 6 years of comparative stitchin...

I thought it was time I updated this thread with a few finishes that I have had over the last three months. First up, possibly one of the most stitched designs ever - Home of a Needleworker Too by LHN, I stitched mine on Vintage Country Mocha Edinburgh linen with my choice of Nina's hand dyed silks ...

I've stitched several Chatelaines including Butterfly Lace and they are gorgeous designs to stitch! There are ways of reducing the cost of them by using different threads, but the silks are gorgeous to work with .

I know of some stitchers that use Thread Heaven to coat every single strand of thread when working on their projects, but I've never found the need to do that! I've stitched a fair few Chatelaines and Debby is right, all the crosses will lie the same way throughout the design. One thing I thought I would mention just in case, with a Chatelaine if you are starting from the centre and working out, it is helpful if you mark the top of your fabric in some way ...
