Re: Where has everyone gone?

I still check in from time to time  I just rarely stitch anymore, and when I do it is my own models. All I do is design and stitch my own designs and I don't want to spam you guys with those lol. But it is nice seeing familiar faces and names when I come back to check up! And I have a few of yo...

Lasting Allure's Model Stitching

I haven't been around all that much but my life has been pretty busy and hectic since January. Lots of ups and downs and stuff happening both good and bad. But I think everything is settling down now and I can finally take some hours to just breath and stitch. For the next few months I have promised...

Re: OT: My trip across the Pond

Carole, I am SOOOO jealous you get to do this.

I hope you have lots of fun and take in all that the UK has to offer. All of that history and culture stuffed into a small island compared to North America.

It will be fun! And you can pick up anything you forgot to pack there lol.

Re: Dance Under The Rain - Possible New Project?

That is going to look wonderful charted up!! So vibrant and gorgeous. Can't wait to see you working on it. I will throw in that the only possible way to mute a colour is by mixing it with its complimentary colour. Also when you put a colour next to its complimentary colour it brightens both colours ...

It is looking so beautiful Karen!! It just pops so much on your fabric  And I will throw in that Lori, the lady who organized the group and who collects the donations, is a real sweetheart! She started my designer group for me and I talk to her almost daily. She has a few other groups on Facebo...

Re: OT vibes for Ellie

I saw this on FB earlier. I am so sorry to hear about Ellie :( my thoughts have been with you all day. A few months ago my pseudo dog (Dog I critter sit for monthly) broke her wrist and they were worried it wouldn't heal properly due to her age of 13, and there wasn't going to be any surgeries due t...

Design Suggestions

Since there are a few designers in this group, I was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to suggest some design ideas of what you would like to see a pattern of in the future*. Us designers are always looking for new ideas and inspirations. What might not inspire one person might just inspire s...

Re: Protective spray coating (acrylic? varnish?)

For regular dusting of pieces with beads you can put a panty hose over the nossel of the vacuum for a softer dusting. This also works if you're picking up spilt beads on the carpet or floor lol. But for the most part, you're supposed to let the fabric breath. Any type of sealant won't be helpful for...

I have 1....but I misplaced it @rotfl: I am bad I normally hold it with my lips or jab my unstitched sections with the needle and leave it there lol. Speaking of holding it with lips....I wonder why so many people do that. We don't hold anything else with our mouths yet it is automatic to stick the ...

Re: Alphabet I can use in designs for sale

My suggestion would be to play around on your pattern maker and make an alphabet by yourself. Of course your alphabet isn't going to look much different from another alphabet depending on how small the lettering is, but try and make them stand out a bit from other alphabets. Also a lot of the parts ...

I want to finish my HEAD Cinderella in 2015. Super close to being done! Also want to finish my Christmas Elegance Lady (Mirabilia) I have to finish her 1 over 1 skin and bead her. Wouldn't mind finishing another Mirabilia too while I am at it. Oh and I want to start HAED Treasure Hunt Bookshelf (LAR...
