Did you decide on how to secure the Aurora threads? Something laid-and-couched sounds like a good plan. We've just been to an exhibition of soldiers' embroidery and there was a banner with the most exquisite silk laid work, with incredibly long laid strands.

Not as much as I'd like to :-( - partly for very pleasant reasons like outings and a cousin visiting from the Netherlands, partly work and other commitments, but it means I have done no Certificate homework at all, and FoF is sadly neglected. The middle one makes me think of a beach scene late evening, with the wooden piles of a breakwater in the foreground, the sea lapping at the beach in the middle, and then the dark sky with perhaps the silver gleam of moonlight in it, or the reflection of the last of the light from the sand.

Could it be to the right rather than the left? I did wonder about the grey slightly curved shape as it has a distinct seal-ness about it but hadn't spotted the teeny seals' heads bobbing about - got them now!

i like the way all these samples invite your brain to make "sense" of them, and to see something in them - like clouds!

Hmm, I'm obviously overlooking the seals can you give a hint?

(We have what I thought was wild garlic but is actually three-cornered leek in our garden. In spite of the name it smells incredibly garlicky!)
