How are you doing and all the hard (and maybe sometimes boring) French knots? I've put this one aside until I've finished my Chatelaine. The Chat is for my mom for Christmas, and I know it's quite an undertaking. So, it's the only thing I'm working on until it's done. I got pretty far on the French...

I'm slowwwwly doing the Caribbean and I get bored with the repetitive sections as well even though that's part of what makes Chatelaines so beautiful. The repetitiveness is part of the reason I did the urns now. I was going to wait until I'd done all the gates and do them last, but I really needed ...

I finished another gate, and the flowers to either side! On these you can see two of the urns that go in each of the corners as well. I'm starting to get a bit bored with this particular part of the pattern, so I'll be glad when it's done and I can move on to the fancy stitches. The whole side... ht...

This is gorgeous! It is definitely on my list of Kinkade's to do (once I finally finish the pesky French knots on my Beauty & the Beast and complete the Little Mermaid, haha). I assume this one was light on the French knots (if there were any at all)?
