Okay so today I went back to my Pinocchio wishes upon a star by Thomas Kinkade and I'm looking at the pattern and color chart and it totally in black and white! I just finished mine this week! Your's is looking lovely! Don't be daunted by all the french knots to come. It goes by in a flash only about 5-6 evenings to do all the knots and back stitching.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the resources. Maybe I'll select a less intensive project to explore with silks. Now to peruse my collection of patterns to find the perfect one...
