Odd question I know, but there is a cross stitch shop there that has an exclusive kit I want to get, but while they do ship overseas, they want me to email them my credit card details.

I do NOT feel comfortable doing this, for obvious reasons.

Was hoping someone lived close to, or knew someone who did to the store Haus Tirol and was able to purchase and ship to me?

Details of the design and store can be found here: http://www.justnan.com/jnewsc.html

If you do live close, and are able to help me out; please can you also work out the total cost (buying the kit and linen - was told the price was different for USA residents) and the cost of postage and packaging, and I'd like to pay you BEFORE you purchase (via PayPal) so you know I'm serious about this, and you have the money on hand :)

It would make it slightly more expensive, but could an American member order it from Just Nan and then ship it to you? It would probably be easier than trying to find someone who lives close.

I also noticed that they have a list of distributers in Australia and NZ who may be able to help.

Zeb I can see why you wouldn't like to send your credit card details by email, but is this perhaps an idea? I've done it myself and our customers do too -- send the first half of the number plus the security code in one email, and the second half of the number plus the expiry date in a second email. Very unlikely that anyone would intercept both emails!

Ali Just Nan doesn't sell direct and in this particular instance it's a shop exclusive design, which means we can only buy it from that shop :(

Mabel I am so incredibly paranoid... I work for a bank so have seen just how nasty it can get ~_~

If I have no luck with this method though, I might just cave; or send the details in a password encrypted file. Hrrmm, that might work.

can''t you ring them during their day, i know it means staying up late for you, but it may help.

I have done what mabel has suggested before, did it over it two emails over two days. that was ages ago...not had a problem yet..been about 5 years now.think i am safe.
