Another 6 months of worry

Post by topbiddy »

Hi everyone,
I need a few hugs today. My son left for Afghan late Monday night and although I have been through this before, I feel a lot more lost this time. It is so hard to watch them 'man up' and walk away from you. He is my baby ( yeah I know he's 25) but mum's just don't see that do we?
Don't know how I shall be for the next six months, but right now I feel bereft.
I know you guys will wish him well.

I went through this 3 times while my son was in the Army. First 15 months, second and third 6 months each. It is very tough to deal with but he is along side people that are there to protect each other and they are well trained.

I will keep good thoughts and prayers for him!!!!!

  I haven't been through this and can only imagine how difficult it must be.
I will certainly also keep good thoughts and prayers for him!! I admire him and all the others who are so brave and risk so much to keep us safe and free. The same goes for the families of these brave men and women.
