Frederick the literate

Post by Amandarudkin »

I've been doing this cross stitch for 2 years and am finally on the last quarter of it. However I've come home today to find my dog has ripped the bit of chart I need to shreds while trying to get to something. Does anyone possibly have a copy of the chart? I'd only need a photoscreen of the bottom right hand corner. Thankyou for reading x

I have the kit of this and would be quite willing to photocopy the portion you require and post it to you. Let me know your address if no one else has been in touch.

Although it's kindly meant, in fact it is a breach of copyright to photocopy a chart to use as you describe. You can send Amandarudkin your chart and ask her to return it to you, but you can't photocopy it and keep the original, I'm afraid.

Each section of the forum has a thread about copyright. It's a difficult subject, but we try to stay on the correct side of things.

You may have already resolved this issue, since the original post was quite a while ago, but I had the same thing happen to me... puppy attack on the pattern. When I contacted the publisher (Dimensions, in this case), they were happy to send me another copy of the pattern.
