Do we have to own the copyright to the pictures?

i have done copyright free pictures - peoples own photographs - copyright pictures i always get or try to get permission from who owns the image

I suspect that you will find it very hard to gain permission from Disney to be able to chart their characters especially as you are going to be making money out of it.

i only ever do the one off charts like say rosemary wants chart of her house then thats what i do - that singular chart ,once sent then i delete from my pc - i dont then sell that chart to others and make a living so to speak

Disney is very protective of their copyright and I also think you would have a very hard time getting permission to chart any of their characters. Even if you do not make money off of them.

You can make your own charts for your own use, but someone can't accept money to chart a copywritten image for you...as far as my understanding goes.

I think this is a great idea! Obviously not good for copyrighted pictures, but for personal photes it is awesome!

I'll definitely be coming to you in the future! I'm trying to finish up my existing projects now, then secure permission from the artist so I can cross stich the picture used for my avatar. I've seen the work completed from your charts on the boards and I can't wait to work with you! Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.

Skitzzzz has made some custom charts for me some months ago (two freebies I mean), and I feel very pleased with them! I would like to recommend the service for everyone who desire quality and creativity!

I really want to make some custom charts again but I definitely should finish some of my current WIPs right now.
