Question for the Stashmus group

Post by Celt42 »

Is anyone adverse to receiving gifts that are second hand? For instance, I was at an Estate sale today, and picked up a good yard of gorgeous red evenweave fabric. Or my local used book store has books with several charts inside. It seems to me that a lot of estate sales have huge stashes for sale, and at a much lower cost. Lower cost means more goodies, right? So, yes or no. If you're signed up for stashmus, what's your opinion on used goods?

Celt42- Perfectly fine with me

As long as the stash is a quality you would gladly give or receive as a gift, and it is part of the Stashmas wish list of the recipient, then I see no problem.

As long as they don't smell of smoke, animals or damp, and are in good conditon, I have absolutely no problem with receiving second hand goods. :)

OK with me. I wouldn't buy stuff second hand that I wasn't prepared to use myself, so it would be good enough to include in Stashmas. :)

AS long as it's in good condition and doesn't smell of cigs, animal, or damp I don't have a problem.
