And today I received the lovely Santa ornament you sent me. So cute...it is now hanging front and center on my tree. Thanks very much! :D :D :D

Sorry I've been slack in posting - I couldn't find the charger to my camera! Finally located it under my bed of all places. Go figure!

I got a very lovely package from Moonchild - she asked me up front if I minded if she used techniques other than cross stitch in my ornament and I said to go with whatever she wanted.. and here's what I got..

First off, a lovely beaded ornament:

That wasn't all in the package though.. There was something that I've been needing but not gotten around to making yet - a needlebook:

I've already put it to good use as I had to leave on a trip the day after the package arrived and instead of sticking my needles in the fabric and hoping they don't fall out like I always do, I was able to use the needlebook.

But there was more! A couple of cute little kits:

And not pictured because I already put it away with all the rest is a generous sized piece of irish linen fabric in either 25 or 28 count - I can't remember exactly right now.

Thank you Moonchild for SUCH a lovely package - you really spoiled me!

I'm glad you enjoyed everything you got :). That was the plan, lol. I was happy to stitch it up and I'm glad it arrived safely and unbroken *whew*.

What a cute way to finish an ornament! In fact I may borrow it and try something similar - on the same pattern as a matter of fact, if I left enough fabric around it. I have a feeling I might not have though. I find it fascinating to compare the two - I was missing some colors on mine and subbed them out with others that were similar and here's how mine ended up..

They're not quite identical twins!
