I've had a really good time organising it, and would like to provisionally offer my name for assiting in organising again next year - assuming that I've got enough free time again, obviously!
WIPs:
Snow Princess and the Polar Bear HAED

Plans:
Twinkle twinkle cushion for nephew's third birthday (September 2015)
Man U crests for husband and brother-in-law

I really hope stashmas does happen again next year as I joined too late this year and would love to join in.
It was good of those who organised it and glad KK has provisionally offered to help again next year, so hopefully it will become an annual event :D :thinks:

I don't know much about online forums, but it does strike me that this one is VERY active. Which is wonderful, and long may it continue. What set this train of thought off was the whole notion of Stashmas next year...! A delightful idea. A forum with... traditions!

Susan
I just wanted to let you know that I've recieved a lovely offer off a forum member regarding your stashmas gift and we're currently working on getting you a new gift organised :) If anyone else involved in stashmas would like to know about this please refer to the pm I'm sending round at the moment :)

Thanks Dawn

Dawn please don't feel anyone else here has to put together a new stashmas gift for me - it's no-one on the forum's fault if I'm not going to get anything and I'll just put it down to experience. If my stashmas person really can't manage to do this exchange for whatever reason, a simple explanation in a pm from them would have been fine. However, if they just can't be bothered and have accepted their stashmas gift, well, I'm afraid I can't help but feel they just shouldn't be made welcome on our forum any more.

Susan im sory that you havent got yours yet but please don't let this one person put you off joining in with stashmas next time. the people who are involved in the possibility of a new gift do it out of love and kindness not because they feel they have to. anyway hugs to you hun :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Ok ladies I've been talking with Caz and its been decided that looking at all the lovely offers Susan's stashmas gift would end up twice as large as anyone else's and well we just can't have that now can we ;) :P

Maybe's we could use all the offers of other stash towards some kind of forum wide competition sometime in the new year?

So myself Caz and the person that pm'd me will all be sending something out as a stashmas/apology gift.

As for the person in question I'm afraid I must admit I quiet agree with Susan about how I would feel towards them should they choose to return to the forums, I understand it sounds hard but we put alot of effort into organising this and its so unfair that one person should just not bother spoiling the fun of others! Plus I admit I'm a little aggrivated because no matter how many times I've attempted to contact them they've made no effort to respond :(

Susan as CC say's please don't let this put you off joining in again next

There are so many great stitchers on this forum that I am delighted to be able to call friends and I certainly won't let one person spoil how I feel about the rest of you :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Ok so I finally recieved a message from Susan's stashmas person!
I've both sent and recieved, but I think that I may have missed the last postage date. I've had a bad foot in the run up to Christmas and could barely walk so I waited until the anti-biotics had kicked in and I could walk again to go to the post box.

My appologies for the late reply. I've just been a little swamped lately with injuries and work. Can you believe I actually managed to burn myself in my sleep? Yeah, not kidding, it's been quite a month.
That being said though I'm not sure what will happen about the one she sent as if she missed the last date it could have gone missing or anything :(

Susan we're still going to send you the gift we where planing on aswell :)
