Hello from Georgia - w/ WIP pics

Post by eclecticstitcher »

I'm not a new stitcher (I've been stitching for a little over 20 years) but I am new to the forum. I stopped for a few years but in the past 6 months have started stitching again with great fervor. I work in a stressful job of child advocacy so it is a great release for me in the evenings.

I live in Georgia with my husband and our two cats and am 33 years old.

I recently finished Barbara Ana Designs' Rampant Cats Sampler, and am currently working on Plum Pudding by Glendon Place (with a color change to blues and greens) and Nancy Spruance's Fulton Mansion which I sadly am not finding as much joy in and will most likely be a very neglected WIP. I'm itching to start something new that I'm really passionate about as I can see Plum Pudding inching toward a finish.

I'm on Instagram as well as emilyciavarro, but I wanted a more stitchy handle for here. :D

Hi, I really like your nickname in here. You mentioned that stitching makes your nights easier to unwind from your job. I wonder if stitching might help the kids you see to unwind and open up?
