Another newbie

Post by 2Danes »

Hi Everyone,

My name is Heather, and I share my home with my Darling Hubby, 5 year old Son and our 2 Great Danes.

I have dabbled in counted cross stitch off and on, with all the pieces being small. Recently found a pattern that I'm really excited to work, but it's on a much larger scale, and I'm already  , I ordered the floss this morning  so the questions will be forth coming  lol.

I can't wait to delve into a new hobby and make friends!

God Bless,
Heather
Happy Stitching,
Heather

Welcome, Heather. Don't let the size discourage you. It's just a series of small pieces joined together. Same stitching that you've already accomplished.

Welcome to the forum. Pals of ours had a Great Dane back in the day -- Ralph (because that's what he sounded like when he barked. Only dog I knew who really didn't care for walks.

Thank you all again for the welcome and the compliments on the dogs.

Our home alarm went off one day, both Hubby and I had forgotten our phones
When we got home, there was a note from the police. Quote: We did a walk around of the house as the alarm was tripped, the ponies seemed to have everything under control.

Nope, we don't have to worry about someone entering who shouldn't be here.
Happy Stitching,
Heather

Thanks for the pics! I had a neighbor awhile back with three great danes and I totally fell in love with them. My favorite was a merle and white girl who loved to lean on people. :D
