3 years! Ok. Bracing myself! :thinks: still excited though!

What fabric are you using/recommend for it?

I usually stitch on 20 count aida but I don't think it matters what you use as long as you are happy with it.

I have to say I stitch other projects alongside Treasure Hunt and I'm not quick, so don't let me put you off!

You will have lots of fun with it. :)

If you haven't started stitching yet, I would suggest that you test a few options before starting. I started with 25ct evenweave stitching 2 over 1 and once I get into sections with lots of confetti stitches it became impossible to get the needle through the holes. I don't know if this is a problem for those who park their threads, but I am a cross country stitcher and it was awful. I have found that for me, either stitching 1 over 1 on 25 or 28 ct fabric or doing a tent stitch (half crosses basically) 2 over 1 on 28 ct usually works best. If you have stitched other large designs you may already know what works best for you. I've seen beautifully stitched HAEDs and Golden Kites on 18ct Aida fabric. It is up to you. What is most important is that you have fun on this wonderful piece!

I'm currently working on 18 count aida. Full coverage 11 inch by 14 inch.

I've ordered the frog pile kit which comes with 14 count aida (i think) and will try that on a higher count maybe 20 or 22 count with linen or evenweave.

Once I finish the frog pile (or enough to decide on fabric preferences), I will kit up and start the treasure hunt.
