That's delightful. I really like that.

You asked about framing it with no margins...have you considered making a wall hanging out of it instead?

That is such an interesting design. I'm so glad you didn't give up with it. Allyn has an interesting point. And once it is finished, washed and pressed, you might be able to add an interesting fabric around the edges (I couldn't do this, but know people who could) to form a fabric frame. Yes, then hang it freely, like a banner. It might need a bit of vilene or something to give it a bit of body at the back, though. :thinks:

:applesauce: :applesauce: What a great design and you have stitched it beautifully. I also like the suggestion of a wall hanging. Such a unique piece should do well in a more unique finishing.

Good grief and here i am worrying that i have only left myself a 2 inch margin by mistake instead of 3 on my latest start!
A most interesting image, is it from some artwork?
That would indeed lend itself to a wall hanging as you could strengthen the narrow edge behind the scenes in the joint so to speak, i have made several things into wall hangings and it is not as hard as you might imagine. Good luck with it and do let us know what you decide in the end.
