I just thought I would share this tidbit as I have a problem with my sweaty hands sometimes and it gets rather annoying. What I do is I just use some baby powder (or gold bond works good too, but I don't like the smell) on my hands, just a light dusting and it seems to last a while for me. Only thing is it tastes a bit funny when I go to wet the ends of a thread to thread the needle. There will be a tiny bit of film on the threads, but nothing that you can see, and it will be washed out in the end.

What a great idea Corey and one I would not have thought of. In our hot summers I often have to stop stitching until late in the day or get up very early and stitch.
Thanks for the tip. :applesauce: :applesauce:

If Im going to be stitching for hours in my room, I usually keep a wet cloth in a towel next to me as my room is like an oven! May try the powder though as I usually end up sleeping on a wet patch! haha

Anywhere else I chose to stitch in the house im usually fine

I know but for me it's the couch. I'm usually sweaty (not grossly sweaty, but I sweat. I'm a man that's my excuse. Lol) when I sit on the couch because we have a leather loveseat that reclines on both sides. Never again do I want a leather couch! My back, the back of my knees, and hands are always sweaty.
