Question for Podolyanka

Post by Serinde »

A friend sent me a URL to a Ukrainian blog which (starting back in Nov 2010) hosted a SAL for a very charming Christmas ornament in the shape of a hardanger bell. I would love to stitch it, but feel I should ask permission. The blog's author hasn't been active since January. Do you know anything about this blog (her -- presume it is a lady -- needlework is exquisite)?

I have just come accross these designs:

Must give a try to at leasy one of them. If nothing else, they inspire one to stitch, dont they?

Oh Lyudmilla they are exquisite! I would love to try doing something like that but it must take a lot of work and patience! If you scroll down you will see a tree where the person is working on 'little leaves' I would love to try that

Nicola, you are right, the beauty of those works is incredible. I like the birds and the rabbit- they look so real. But I think one has to be an artist to do all that. Sadly, when I drew or painted soemthing at school, the teacher sometimes could not guess what it was.
