Once again this is not a video but a great tutorial and would be a shame to lose it.

This is another tutorial that was found for putting together Biscornu. Daz posted it in his SAL but I thought it would be a shame to lose it.

This has come up on a few occasions and I thought it would be nice to have some pictures as well as an explanation.

Loop Start!!!!!

Begin by cutting a length of thread that you are comfortable working with and your needle
Image

Fold the thread in half and thread the 2 ends through the ey of the needle
Image

Starting from the back with your first square. Poke needle through the fabric.
Image

On the back side you will have the loop.
Image

Make the first leg of your cross and poke the needle through the fabric to the back side.
Image

Run the needle through the middle of the loop.
Image

Pull the thread tight and you have made the Loop Start.
Image

I hope this may help someone.
