Wanna come up here and stand guard over my HAED? :ribbit: has been leaping around amongst all the browns/black-browns and black I'm currently stitching. Nothing vital (and who's going to notice, I mean, honestly), but it's the cheek of the creature!

Tut! How dare he! (but I'm glad you're not losing sleep over the fact that one of the brown-black stitches has been stitched in black-brown :-))

Out nasty :ribbit: out. GO AWAY NOW. It is so annoying but at least these are mishaps that absolutely won't be noticed.

I can sympathize.
I swear :anotherfrog: sits on my shoulder with glee and deliberately croaks in my ear to confuse me about the light greys, dark greys and the medium greys. Not to mention the different shades of blues and whites and off whites.
Why can't he go on vacation like the stitchy bugs do? Or, better yet, emigrate to a swamp or something.

I thought backstitching was the part I hated the most. Now I have to :anotherfrog: some metallic threads. This is going to be a nightmare.

:x to the frog. When I have had to :anotherfrog: metallics or even a mix of Krenik and floss I would go very slow and cut the strands every 2 or 3 stitches as it is much easier to pull out shorter threads. At least it is for me. I am so sorry that you have to do this. It is a royal pain in the patooki for sure!

Confession time: I had to re-start my re-start of the His Name Is Jesus in my wip. I got most of the 4th page done & realized my 20 square error! (but this time I'd STARTED on pg. 4, so there was quite a bit of :ribbit: :anotherfrog: :ribbit: :anotherfrog: 'ing going on. THEN, when I got it rolling, I kept :anotherfrog: 'ing this one lower case t. :x

This has got me REALLY worried about putting needle to that piece of Linen I bought for the Stuart frame-up I want to do! :(

I was happily stitching along on my Iris project when I had finished one color and went to pull the next color out to do. That's when I realized that the last color was the wrong color. There was a very big section in a open area that I :anotherfrog: out pretty easily but what do I do about all those lone confetti stitches here and there? The color is 2 shades off (lighter) from what it should be and it would have been very noticible for that big block. It's on 28ct fabric and I'm scared to rip those lone stitches that are in the middle of everything. And they're so small. :baby:

How many single stitches are there? If they are close to the right color will it show significantly if you leave them, or leave some of them? Otherwise I guess you have to carefully cut each one. I have had to do some singles, but not a lot at one time. :x: that you can only :ribbit: a few if them. If you do it carefully I don't think it should hurt the fabric. I think :anotherfrog: legs for dinner is an excellent idea.

:anotherfrog: visited. I know it's wet here but that is no excuse. Oh well I managed to find and remedy the mistake.
 Pengwenn now where did I leave my :anotherfrog: beating stick?

Pengwen, would it be possible to stitch over them in a single strand of the correct colour (only a half cross, if it gets too bulky otherwise)? that might disguise them just enough.

I had to rip out some stitching last night. It wasn't because I did anything wrong, but because I'm changing the color scheme on the design and I didn't like what I had done. That doesn't make it any easier though.
