Surprise parcel and a challenge

Post by poppy »

I was mesmerised by the beauty of the "Angel Of The Morning", which Sally aka Squirrel, stitched so beautifully.
Consequently, I messaged her, asking for advise about the stitching of this masterpiece, as I would love to stitch it too.
It is beyond what I ever stitched but decided to buy the chart and told Sally.

Well, look what I got in the post!!!!
It was such a lovely surprise! Sally sent me all the beads for the project and also beautiful skeins, which are now discontinued.
I am so chuffed and cannot wait to finish my Wedding Sampler to start my beautiful Angel.
Thank you, Sally.

I thought, I would tell you all, as I am so happy :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

I too am looking forward to seeing your start and progress on this special design. You are certainly more than welcome to the threads etc Helene as I doubt I would ever use them on anything again and due to a forgetful memory I had plenty of spares. and they needed to go elsewhere :)

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I have never seen the sense into hanging onto 'stuff' which I would be unlikely to ever use again when someone else has a need. Besides the more I can downsize my stash the more new 'stuff' I can get. :whoop:

What a lovely surprise, can imagine you were excited when you saw them & lovely of Sally to send them. Members on here always seem to be helping each other out by passing on things they do not want or need any more :D
