Son's wedding! minij.(pictures added)25.8.10

Post by felicity53 »

Some of you may have noticed that minij has not been posting as often as she used to. Thats because she has been busy preparing for her son's wedding which is this Sunday. To see what she's been up to have a look at s.a.l: wedding sampler framed and a.o.c: wedding bell; both exceptional pieces of work. :applesauce:
I'm sure you will join with me to wish minij all the best for the big day.

How busy she must be. I wish all the best for her son's upcoming wedding. I know that the bride and groom are going to really love the wedding bell and wedding sampler that she has made for them!!

Here's hoping for a fine day. The sampler and wedding bell you have made are both works of art.

Congratulations to the happy couple and well done Minji.

Well just to say the sun is shining here in Leicestershire at the moment so we just hope it stays that way. All our 3 sons will be here in a short while so we will have a late family cooked breakfast :D

Thanks again for all the good wishes and i will post a pic or 2 in a few days

Well just an update, we had a wonderful day, the weather was great, everything was perfect, even the Red Arrows flew over very low in perfect formation just a couple of minutes before we went in to eat, how lucky was that!!!! Later there was a lovely sunset as well

Paul asked Keith and Graham both to be bestmen, Pete to be usher and asked me to be a witness and read in church
Of course Emily's Dad gave her way, her sister was chief bridesmaid and her Mum also read in church and was a witness, so immediate families on both sides were given jobs to do which was lovely

Here's a few pics
Just before we left the house, Me and my 4 men, from right to left
Keith our middle son, Paul (groom) eldest son, Graham youngest son Pete hubby.

What great pictures - just love the sunset behind Paul and Emily.
Fabulous timing for the Red Arrows to fly over too.
