I've spotted 4 I would love to buy and that is without really looking, just scrolling down. Me thinks there will be some shopping coming up next week. Oh deary me and just when I was trying to be good too.

Oh nooooooooo sorry about that, but I really was so happy to share where the gorgeous fabric came from--and by the way, it is available in several counts too. They do take about a week or so to post out--for the hand dyed fabrics, but it's really worth the wait!! I am hoping that they will have a good sale in the near future too!!

Me too - I might just sign up for the newsletter so we both know.

Sally

Stash gatherers beware of that site - its a mine field - and so well priced too.

I got the Cross Stitch Gold old edition Janny sent me, with the cupcake chart I wanted to stitch to my mom-in-law's new kitchen. It has other amazing charts in it and she left me post it notes all over the magazine, which was totally adorable!

Still waiting on my real postman, but since my dad works for a company owned by royal mail and came over today just to make a delivery, I think that counts too. Mostly because I wanna show :P

We ordered our wedding invitations the other week and they arrived the other day with two free gifts, another photo albumn which will probably stay with my parents as I like the one they made me so much better, and this:

Isn't it lovely? I'm so happy! Why hadn't I thought of getting one before? I had a hunt today and found almost all my reciepts and to do lists and put them in there. Still got several things to find, and some that may be gone forever, but I'm now properly organised!

Looks lovely, Angel. Organised is good, wedding-wise.

Not only did I receive a pako needle organiser from Mrs MBK (Fast delivery!!) for which many, many thanks :P

but also

Jacqui Carey's Elizabethan Stitches: A guide to historic English needlework which is mind blowingly fantastic. She has found that many of the stitches differ from the ones we do today, even if their names are the same. Intriguing. Full of colour photos of historic pieces, front and back (!) as well as excellent stitching diagrams.

How am I supposed to work today??

Crikey  - Royal Mail must have had their skates on to get that parcel all the way to you in less than 24 hrs Serinde! That book sounds fascinating - I love reading about the history of needlework.

What great mail deliveries for both of you. Angel, being organized is always good, being organized for your wedding is even better. Will help bring stress levels down some which is great.

Serinde, sorry to hear that you need to take it easy today  probably reading whatever shows up would help cure you. Please give us a review. The book sounds fantastic.

I ordered 2 charts from 123 on Thursday and they came in the post yesterday.

I got the AAN Spider Banner that I have been drooling over since it was in the SAL Section. I also got the Golden Ice pattern from Kustom Kraft. I then had a bit of an issue late Friday night. My daylight bulb burned out. :x Well of course no one locally sells them so had to order 2 from Amazon. They had the cheapest prices. So until it gets here I have to use a regular 60 watt. It is not very good but I am getting by. :x :x :x

Amazing how you don't realize the difference until those daylight bulbs burn out. I didn't think I needed the extra light until the floorlamp I had broke and then after I got the Daylight lamp with the magnifier I was amazed at the difference even when I'm not using the magnifier. Not as bright as the reading lamp was but so much easier on my eyes. Hope Amazon gets your bulb to you asap. I have a daylight bulb in my new floor lamp so I get lots of daylight now!
Hope you aren't going to wait too long to start working on your new charts. I will be looking forward to seeing you pictures.

Not exactly the postman, as they were downloads :-), but Mum brought me an early birthday present from one of my aunts, which got me four wonderful Dorothy Sayers unabridged audiobooks

I got a gorgeous weeod and leather office chair with built in massage function (Totally worth £200, but costing only £85!), Chris got a reclining leather office chair and a laptop table that is currently being used as a craft table since my computer desk is so cluttered since he stole my big one and left me with the little one :P
