If anyone is close enough (and interested, of course), I'll be teaching a one-day workshop called Hardanger For Absolute Beginners at the Percival Guildhouse in Rugby on Saturday 25th February. The projects for the day are:

I'm sure many of us will wish we were close enough to attend - your "students" have no idea how lucky they are!

Wish I lived close enough but Rugby is a horrible drive from me. Hope it's a great success though. :D

Ooo how exciting...I'm only about 10 mins away from the Guildhouse!

I've had a look at the website and from what I gather you have to sign up for the whole day, is that correct, because to be honest yours is the only course running on that day that really piques my interest.

@nachosmiley -- all the courses that day are "day courses", that is to say they run from 10am to 4pm (with lunch and coffee/tea breaks), so you choose the one you want to do and ignore the rest :-)

Mabel

Hubby has very kindly said he can cope with the children for me to go to this workshop
Do I book direct with the Guildhouse?

Thanks

It will be lovely to see you  yes, you book direct at the Guildhouse. There's also a material pack, they should tell you about that when you enroll, which you pay for at the beginning of the workshop.

Jo, you are one lucky girl. Have a grand time. I know that it will be a wonderful workshop. Wish I could be there too.

Well, I posted off my enrolment form and fee yesterday. I can't wait to do this. I spent a lovely half hour or so catching up on Mabel's hardanger thread yesterday and had a browse through her fancies and I'm feeling thoroughly inspired. Her designs are so fresh and imaginative, I can't wait to get going on them!!

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you there :-)! Ideally we need at least one more person to sign up, so fingers crossed...

Won't do any harm :-)

There are two people who have shown an interest but have yet to take the plunge...
