Carole -- I used to a one-kt-at-a-time girl, but then I got pregnant and realized I needed to start on the birth record, so that's the first time I've had two projects in rotation. It was good for me to do that - kept my stitching interesting! haha!

I have a kit I purchased on ebay last week that is en-route, and I am days away from finishing "..cats have slaves". The itch to purchase a new design has already started!
I am so very close to buying this chart -- I have already started a cart on 1-2-3 stitch for the floss, the gridding pen and the ruler. Oh god... The thought of needing reading glasses/mag lenses before I hit 40 is frightening! haha!

I took the advice of one of the previous posters and took a look at some of the free charts - daunting, but do-able. I think I will really have to grid this project out though - I'd be a fool not too. The only thing that scares me is buying the fabric - how much larger than the stated finished design do I get? What colour? - does it matter? I've only ever stitched on black and white aida fabric!

Cute design, it really does look like Scully! I hope you enjoy stitching it... There are some online retailers who are authorized to produce HAED kits, one I can think of off- hand is Colray Crafts in the UK. I think there is also someone on this forum who has been authorized to do HAED kits, I think she posted it somewhere...

Oh my, thank you!! I just sent an email to Colray Crafts to see how much their kit is. As much as I would love to "kit" it myself, I'm not sure I'm ready for that just yet. Lets face it, I'm a bit of a wuss. lol!

Love that design! And yes, your scully is a dead ringer, apart from the colour!
