Famous!

Post by poppy »

Well, kind off! As I opened my copy of the World of Cross Stitching (the latest issue 262), I was surprise to see my photo on page 63, in the section " Where am I?" It is a competition where you send a photo of you on holiday, holding a copy of the WOCS.

I wrote an e-mail and sent the photo back in February and did not hear anything back.
Apparently, I won a prize but I haven't got it yet.
I will tell you when I get it. I am quite excited about it! :whoop:

We are famous!
It is good to know that we can contribute to the magazine and be published. I subscribe to the WOCS and really like it.
Do you remember the magazine Quick & Easy? It had great little charts in it.

I am glad that you remember it too, Greyhound Mum. It was the first X-stitch magazine , I bought. It was after an exam and I treated myself to a magazine. I tried the free kit, which came with it and never looked back. It was in 1996, I think! In the last century!!! :D
