I know I shouldn't have! I've bought so much lately (and the new Wrendales are coming out on Friday 16th February!), but I just got a really good deal on these kits! Two from websites (going to stitch the birds individually and give out as gifts or keep for cards) and the bunny someone was selling on Facebook for £14.50 including post so I just had to get it!

I have the bird kit but haven't stitched it yet. The squirrel and rabbit are irresistible.

Beautiful stash, everyone (but the kitten must be my favourite )

I had a bit of a windfall today, a lady had donated two boxes of embroidery materials to the adult education centre where our stitching circle meets, and we were given first dibs (with the beading circle to have a go at whatever we left ).

I got some beads, a little book with some interesting patterns, and two pendants for needlework.

Excellent stash items Mabel! I love the colours of those beads (especially the dark blue ones)

Nicolla, of course you had to snap up those bargains, it would not be sensible to walk away fromthem.

Mabel, how lovely when you can make use of stash that someone donated! I bet that in your mind, you are already creating and designing with all these goodies in mind. Can't wait to see what you will create this time....

So colourful Nicola but must admit I love the squirrel best, beautiful colours. There are red ones on Anglesey, conservationists trying to keep the island free of grey squirrels. The grey ones found are relocated in forests on the mainland .

Mabel what a wonderful collection. I like the book of crewel stitches.

The flag looks lovely too.

My latest kits

Design by Sung Kim, he does wonderful pictures. Not heard of him until i bought Dimensions kits. He designed the small Overlook Cafe cross stitch kit. Also he has designed a bright European scene tapestry with yarn instead of wool also by Dimensions. I bought that about a year ago to see what it is like & it looks good.




This one by different artist - European Bistro.




I have Colourful Waterways kit by Dimensions which is a cafe in Venice, both are done on grey but I have ivory Aida & any bits which should be left unstitched so grey shows, I can do with a colour as close to the grey shade of Aida as I can.

Colourful Waterways is also designed by Sung Kim so slightly brighter in tone than this one but they should look great together.


I have been helping a friend recently & she has ordered me this by way of a Thank You. So kind of her.




Last but not least I have the ginger kitten the same as Helene (Poppy) bought with her voucher. That came very quickly.

I certainly have enough to keep my occupied now, (as if I didn't before, ha ha ha!) No more buying until I have made progress with my cstash.

Love those Wrendale designs - thinking I might have to get one myself.

And that European Bistro is very nice.
