Finished this today :whoop: :whoop: first stitching in ages. It's a gift for my nephew's wedding next month. The thread is called "Celebration" thought it was appropriate. Felt good to do some stitching too,

Yes, it is; and a very clever design, too, full of little celebratory bits. Good colours.

I tease my neighbor, Kenny, when I clean his house because he won't put anything on his walls. Nothing. He didn't want a vacuum cleaner either, but eventually he broke down and got one for me to use and now he thinks it's the greatest invention on Earth! :whoop: Anyway, I had a week of downtime while waiting for my floss and cloth to arrive for my grand redo adventure, so I freehanded a little something for his walls. (Just to be safe, I have it in a frame w/ a back stand so he can set it on a counter instead).

Image

Cost: $4 for mounting board and Dollar Tree frame. Used Aida cloth cut from my unfinished project and leftover floss. Kenny would approve.

What a wonderful surprise for him!
You are a talented designer, Sahari ; I love the writing and shadow writing and the border. It is perfect for a man too, design and colours.
