'Mabel's Windmill'

Post by wendywombat »

Image

This is my version of Mabel Figworthy's wonderful Windmill.

I couldn't get the Threadworx 'Bradley's Balloons' but Mabel suggested Caron Tahiti.

Then the 'BLING' took over as I decided to make it into a birthday card for my daughter. So there are silver daisy sequins with yellow bead centres and a yellow sequin in the centre over the Greek Cross.
I mounted in onto some cream silk which is why it's not flat and tight in the mount.

Extra bling is always good :-) - I like how you've turned the sequins into daisies with their yellow bead centres!
